Selected projects…

VENN approaches each project with a cinematic eye, drawing from backgrounds in photography, fashion, film and set design.

Every space is treated like a scene, shaped through light, texture, composition, and atmosphere to create an immersive visual world. From concept to final installation, the focus is on mood, detail, and emotional impact.

The process is collaborative and exploratory, pushing ideas beyond the expected to create something distinctive, transportive, and fully realised.

Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon was a showcase event staged at Kachette in Shoreditch, London, in collaboration with Penniblack Catering. Set in September and inspired by the upcoming harvest moon, the evening unfolded bringing together seasonal food, images, and sounds.

A large-scale screen filled the atmospheric industrial space with bespoke visuals created specifically for the event, shifting the environment into a living backdrop. The soundscape was layered and atmospheric, shaped by DJ Mike Flowers and classical violinist Matthew Glossop, blending live performance with subtle wildlife recordings, ambient interludes and moon themed tunes, building a sense of place and mood.

Lighting was kept lunar - low, cool, and immersive, dissolving the room into shadow. Rustic hay bales softened the industrial space, while a three metre sustainably sourced tree section was installed as the central dining table, anchoring the experience in nature. Staff moved through the darkness in neon jewellery, their presence punctuating the atmosphere, paired with rustic shirts and denim.

From the enigmatic entrance poster to the final moment of the evening, every detail was composed as part of a single cinematic sequence, resulting in an immersive, transportive experience built to feel both unreal and grounded.

Summer party tablescape created for Penniblack catering by Venn Productions

Woodland Summer Party

Set within private woodland near the host’s childhood home, this 60 guest summer celebration was designed to feel immersive, nostalgic, and quietly magical.

Inspired by the playful beauty of vintage jellies, the design palette centred around moss greens and soft pink tones. Curved dining tables mirrored the natural shapes of the woodland clearing, allowing the setting to feel organic and deeply connected to the landscape.

The tablescape combined foraged woodland textures with oversized handcrafted jellies, some filled with wild berries and fruits, others perfectly clear, creating striking edible centrepieces that felt both sculptural and nostalgic. Place settings featured crab apples and blackberries detailed with edible ink, adding delicate, personal touches throughout the table.

As evening fell, drifting dry ice moved through the space and caught the golden light, creating an atmospheric, cinematic quality without overpowering the natural surroundings. Pink champagne, white and green china, and staff dressed in relaxed white tunics completed the setting, giving the gathering an effortless, ethereal feel.

The result was a woodland summer party that felt intimate, immersive, and slightly surreal, balancing elegance with playfulness in a way that felt relaxed, memorable, and deeply personal.

‘Antojito’ stall

Our Antojito stall was designed to bring the energy and colour of a Mexican street food celebration to life. Featuring hand painted artwork throughout, the stall was created to deliver authentic character and visual impact.

With future flexibility in mind, the theme was specifically fabricated to be effortlessly rolled out for other events, celebrations or whenever the spirit of fiesta is required.

Privet grooming salon exterior designed and created created by Venn Productions

PRIVET exterior refurb

A full creative rebrand and shopfront transformation for a grooming salon. Designed to look confident, stylish and welcoming to all genders, while specifically appealing to men who might not traditionally feel comfortable entering a salon environment.

The brief was to develop a salon identity that felt elevated and welcoming, while maintaining a playful & relaxed tone. Somewhere clients would want to spend time and not simply pass through. Our approach combined traditional barber shop references with a more fashion led, contemporary aesthetic to attract a broader, design conscious clientele.

The concept took inspiration from male hair growth and the maintenance it requires. Approached with a sense of humour but executed through a considered design language. This became the newly reimagined Privet, modern grooming, but with a playful nod to dense, sculpted hedging.

Working within the limitations of a rented property, we completely reskinned the existing aluminium shopfront without altering the building itself. The exterior was wrapped in an off the peg green vinyl, creating a bold and recognisable street presence. Traditional hand painted lettering, finished with gold detailing, gave the branding a timeless salon feel, while bespoke signage and a large artificial privet peacock introduced an element of theatricality and intrigue.

Oversized window graphics became a key part of the identity, featuring quirky imagery that combined flora and grooming, designed to stop passers by in their tracks while also providing privacy within the salon.

The finished space balanced humour with strong visual branding, creating a salon identity that felt distinctive, contemporary, and effortlessly cool.
